Abstract: Organizational commitment is the important determinant of organizational change. This research was designed to examine the impact on attitudes against change of the commitment status of nurses.The research data were collected with the Information Form, the Organizational Commitment Scale (OCS) and the Attitude Against Change Scale (AACS), completed by 279 nurses working in a university hospital and two state hospitals. The analysis of data was carried out using the statistical program.The nurses' score average obtained from the OCS was 3.09±0.53, and the organizational commitment of the nurses was found to be at medium level. The nurses' score average obtained from the AACS was 60.40±11.79, and the nurses' attitudes against change were positive. It was found that the relationship between organizational commitment and attitude against change is statistically positive.........

Abstract: Intravenous fluids instead of oral hydration is universal practice in labour. Sufficient rehydration has shown a lessening in labour durationand improve newborn outcome. However results of other studies anticipated that labour duration could be decreased by administering IV fluids at a rate of 120 ml/hr.Aim: Thus, the aim of the current study was to assess the effect of intravenous fluids infusion on the progress of labour and newborn outcome.Design: A descriptive correlationdesign.Setting: The study was conducted at the delivery room and postpartum outpatient clinic in General Hospital, Kafrelshiekh, Egypt. Sample: A convenient sample of 150 labouring women (divided to 50 each group) was selected. Abstract: Background: The PLISSIT model is a tool for both assessing and managing a patient's sexuality concerns. It is thought that an intervention plan prepared within the framework of the PLISSIT model will guide maternity nurses in solving sexual problems of diabetic women and providing integrated care and help them to express their sexual problems. this study was aimed to evaluate the effect of PLISSIT model sexual counseling on sexual function among women with diabetes. Research design: A quasi-experimental study design was used. Setting: The study was conducted at Gynecological and Diabetic Clinics at Ain Shams University Hospital. A purposive sample technique was used to recruit one hundred and ten (110 ) diabetic women in the study. Abstract: Violence against nurses occurs in almost all settings. Burnout is associated with negative emotional and physical health consequences for nurses. The study aimed to explore types, preparators, responses to violence, factors associated with the experience of violence and burnout. A convenience sample of 107 nurses completed the self-administered survey from emergency, psychiatric departments and geriatric home. Two scales were used: A scale focuses on workplace violence. The second scale is the Maslach Burnout Inventory. The study revealed that physical violence was the most type of violence reported by nurses, patients and their families were the most reported preparators of violence. Abstract: This research observes Boron in relation to a traditional Iraqi dates and the wide range of essential nutrient and high nutritional value of traditional food in Iraq , with multiple benefits, as well as Boron which the body needs in small amount and can't be dispensed, so this study is to clarify the role of boron in the qualitative qualities that have to do with human life. Abstract: Handover is an important process in nursing care especially in critical care area because it involves transferring patient data. Abstract: This study has been conducted to assess the effectiveness of the call bell tool kit and its impact in enhancing the patient delight. Structured Questionnaire was used to collect data from 50 patients and 50 nurses across Apollo Hospitals in 4 locations - Bengaluru, Chennai, and Delhi& Kolkata. Time motion study was done with 179 Nurses across the 4 units for 100 patient [25 patients from each unit]with different Room categories/ Specialities / Treatment plan .Convenient sampling technique was used to select the samples for the study. The data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics and also brainstorming sessions with the team, RCA was done to identify major delay in in call bell response. Abstract: Kenya has seen drastic changes in nursing education sector recording high rates of enrolment of students to training. However, their performance in Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) examination remains variable. This study investigated performance of BSc nursing students in NCK examinations by examining student characteristics in relation to performance. The study used qualitative and quantitative approach to collect data retrospectively. 1292 records of students who sat examinations July 2012-June 2015 from NCK nurses database was used.
