Abstract: Background: Insertion of intravenous cannula is the most distressing procedure for both patients and nurses in oncology practice. Warm compresses is a safe, and cost-effective technique that facilitates IV cannulation for patients receiving chemotherapy Objectives: This study aims to determine the effects of local warm compresses on the visibility and palpability of peripheral veins before peripheral venous cannulation of patients undergoing chemotherapy, and to determine the effects of local warm compresses on pain, and patients' satisfaction after peripheral venous cannulation. Abstract: Background: Critical care nurses (CCNs) need to be well-informed and cautious in the care of patients that are consider high-risk for abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS). In addition, it is important for CCNs to recognize the factors that affect patients to intra abdominal hypertension(IAH) and ACS, and to be alert when assess patients to expect and deal with patients correctly. Aim: This paper was aimed to evaluate the effect of educational program on the critical care nurses' awareness and knowledge regarding IAH and ACS. Design and methods: Pre, post quasi experimental research design was used. A purposive sample of 54 nurses working in Surgical Critical Care Units (SCCUs) of Emergency Hospitals and the Main Mansoura University Hospital at Mansoura University Hospitals were incorporated in the study. All nurses were evaluated pre and post teach program for their knowledge. The study took approximately six months. Abstract: An Experimental Study on Assessing the Effectiveness of Reproductive health-educational counselling among adolescent girls in selected school was done the adolescent girls, studying in 9th standard as samples were equally distributed as 100 in each arm i.e., the experimental and control groups .Intervention was carried for three days using educational counselling methods. The statistical analysis of t test and Chi-square test were used as per the objectives. The results revealed the effectiveness of the educational counselling on Reproductive health increase in terms of statistical significant increase towards their enhanced knowledge and attitude with p values= <0.001

Abstract: High prevalence, negative effect and suboptimal cancer pain management has been reported from resource-limited countries such as Kenya. Precisely, trends of cancer cases are on the increase at Garissa County in Kenya, yet no data exist on the prevalence, effect and management of cancer pain.
