Dysmenorrhea has an adverse effect on daily life and academic performance, causing recurrent short-term class/faculty absenteeism among university female students. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the impact of dysmenorrhea on academic performance among female nursing students at King Abdulaziz University (KAU). Methods: Cross-sectional study was conducted in Faculty of Nursing at KAU in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Purposive sampling technique was used to enroll........

Abstract: Background : Myocardial infarction is a life threatening cardiovascular disease worldwide. Medication are the primary tools used to prevent and effectively manage chronic illnesses; however, despite their importance and known benefits, appropriate medication use remains a challenge for both patients and providers. Along with the treatment of such patients equally important is their follow – up and medications adherence to curtail the probability of recurrence of Myocardial infarction. Objectives: 1.To assess the factors associated with the drug adherence among post myocardial infarction patient's. 2.To determine the association between factors associated with the drug adherence with selected...........

Often, Infection in a Surgical Site ismainly reported cases of postoperative infections arises within a month of the surgical process. This could be the main reason for the patients' distress, morbidity, mortality, extended hospitalization and augment of total treatment coast as it affects the patients' daily activity living. Aim: Assess the risk factors that contributed to Infection in a Surgical Site among coronary artery bypass graft patients. Design: A quantitative retrospectivedesign was used. Setting:The study was done in the unitofmedical record atUniversity of King Abdulaziz Hospital; data was gathered from the patient's electronic files.Sample:All males andfemale's patient...........

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the perceptual learning style preferences of the clinical laboratory science students. Descriptive methodology was used where questionnaires were distributed and analyzed using mean and ANOVA. The results revealed that the predominant overall learning style preference of the students was kinesthetic. There was no significant difference in the learning style preferences for visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tactile and individual. However, there was a significant difference in the learning style preference of the students when it comes to group learning.

Abstract: Background: Motorcycle injuries constitute a major but neglected emerging public health problem in developing countries. In Kenya, Commercial motorcycling has become a popular mode of transport in both rural and urban areas since 1990s but traced to 1960s. However, its related injuries cause significant morbidity and mortality. Many road users have viewed their presence in the roads as the cause of congestion, confusion, fear, and decreased safety in the road system. Few community-based studies have investigated the problem leading to inadequate data to inform prevention strategies. Objectives: The primary objectives were; to determine the demographic characteristics of motorcyclists in Butula sub county, determine the, environmental and human factors associated with commercial motorcyclist's crashes and injuries..........

Abstract: AI is advancing dramatically. It is already transforming our world, socially, economically and politically. The "AI for Good Global Summit" took place at ITU in Geneva, Switzerland, on 7-9 June 2017, organized by ITU and the XPRIZE Foundation, in partnership with twenty UN agencies stated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be central to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and could help solve humanity‟s grand challenges by capitalizing on the unprecedented quantities of data now generated on sentient behavior, human health, commerce, communications, migration and more. (1) The future of healthcare holds great promise for applying AI to improve many aspects of the care process. This paper gives an overview about artificial intelligence and potential benefits of application of these technologies in health care sector.

Abstract: Ocular toxoplasmosis is an incurable infectious disease caused by a inevitably intracellular protozoan called Toxoplasma gondii and is probably the most common cause of posterior segment infections in many countries. The authors report a case of a 30-year-old woman who consulted for bilateral oculalgia, tickling and decreased visual acuity; Visual acuity without correction by far was 10 /10th in the right eye and 10 / 10th in the left eye. Ophthalmoscopic and retinographic evaluation reveals a chorioretinal scar in the right eye suggesting the diagnosis of ocular toxoplasmosis. Ocular toxoplasmosis is one of the major causes of posterior segment infection. Inactive cases may be asymptomatic and the diagnosis requires a complete examination of the eye for better management........
