Abstract: The body weight represents a role in body image dissatisfaction and eating disordered among secondary school's students. Purpose: This study aimed to assess the effect of eating disorders on body image satisfaction and self-esteem among secondary school's students. Design: non-experimental correlation design was used. Setting: The study was conducted in EL-Shohda City, which is among the highest population cities in Menoufia Government and serving multiple rural areas. Two (male and female) secondary schools were included. Sample: purposive sample composed of 160 adolescents students in the previously mentioned settings engaged from both sexes. Tools; four tools were used;(1)- Structured interview questionnaire concerned with socio-demographic data. (2)- physiological measurement (anthropometric features). (3)- body image satisfaction scale. (4)- self- esteem scale. Results: revealed that 48.8% of the studied students were dissatisfied toward their body; while 23.1% of them..........
