Abstract: Body image is a critical psychosocial problem in nasopharyngeal cancer patients which can affect their life quality. It can be handled by psychosocial therapy which can increase body image by conducting cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The objective of the research was to identify the effectiveness of CBT on increasing body image in nasopharyngeal cancer patients. The research used quasi experimental method with equivalent control group design. The samples were 66 respondents: 33 of them were in the intervention group and the other 33 of them were in the control group, taken by using consecutive sampling technique.
