Abstract: Traditional meter reading for electricity consumption and billing is done by human operator from houses to houses and building to building. This requires huge number of labor operators and long working hour to achieve complete area data reading and billing. Human operator billing or prone to reading error as sometime the houses electric power meter is place in a location where it is not easily accessible. The concept is to reduce the time delay .Hence it need not wait for the slack time of other previously task .The power management system is consists of Zigbee Digital Power meters installed in every consumer unit and an Electricity e-Billing system at the energy provider side. The Zigbee Digital Power meter (ZPM) is a single phase digital kWh power meter with embedded Zigbee modem which utilize the Wireless sensor network to send its power usage reading using information back to the energy provider wirelessly.

Abstract: A wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of a large number of wireless sensor nodes. Since wireless sensor nodes are battery powered devices, they have limited processing and transmission power. In order to transmit sensing data to receiver effectively, it is important to design a routing protocol for WSNs. Since energy conservation is a key issue in WSNs, data aggregation should be exploited in order to save energy. In this case, redundant data can be aggregated at intermediate nodes reducing the size and number of exchanged messages and, thus, decreasing communication costs and energy consumption. This paper propose an Enhanced Forward Aware Factor-Energy Balanced Routing Method (EFAF-EBRM) based on Data aggregation technique that has some key aspects such as a reduced number of messages for setting up a routing tree, maximized number of overlapping routes, high aggregation rate, and reliable data aggregation and transmission.. In the experiments, proposed method is compared with FAF-EBRM and LEACH. Experimental results show that proposed method outperforms FAF-EBRM and LEACH, which balances the energy consumption, prolongs the network function lifetime and provides the best aggregation quality .

Abstract: In this paper, a new algorithm with multi constraints that can be used in active noise control is presented. This can be used to maintain the particular system power budget and prevent over driving. The filter used for the constraints is frequency domain of least mean square algorithm. A limiting factor is used in the algorithm to reduce the effect of the filter response at other frequencies. The algorithm can be either used in gain or output power constraint. The algorithm shows the better convergence rate than the existing algorithms. The finding of correct convergence point can be done through the secondary path.

Abstract: A simple and efficient method of achieving multiband operation on a microstrip patch antenna is presented on this paper. The patch is designed by simply modifying the crown square geometry, which is fractal geometry. Multiband characteristic is obtained by the self similar property of the designed patch. Method to vary the operational frequencies for one antenna is also suggested. The physical dimensional parameters of the designed antenna can be adjusted so as to obtain the frequencies to some useful frequency ranges. The proposed antennas are giving broadside radiation on the working frequencies. The antennas are designed using finite element method based HFSS and its performance is demonstrated in terms of return loss, radiation pattern and VSWR.

Abstract: Studies on mobile space charge effect in the depletion layer of heterojunction Si/Si0.9Ge0.1 IMPATT diode (p+pnn+ structure with p+ = Si1-xGex, p = Si1-xGex, n = Si and n+ = Si; mole fraction x = 0.1) has been simulated at 94 GHz window frequency. The simulation study based on drift-diffusion model for the study of DC, high frequency and negative resistivity properties of the device at different bias current densities has been carried out. The maximum DC-to-millimeter wave conversion efficiency of 14.82% is obtained at a bias current density of 0.7 108 A/m2. Si/Si1-xGex DDR Impatts is found to give peak negative conductance at about 92 GHz (close to 94 GHz design window frequency) for a bias current density of 0.7 108 A/m2. The device performance degrades with mobile space charge effect at bias current densities exceeding 2.0 108 A/m2. Hence bias current density up to 2 108 A/m2 may be considered as the limit to realize high efficiency with high power from the device.

Abstract: Mammography is a best technique for early detection of breast cancer. This paper deals with the detection of micro calcification on mammographic images. It appears as white speckles in images. Micro calcification is a tiny bit, which may not be clearly visible because of low contrast in the image. Our goal is to apply image processing technique to enhance the images and subsequently extract the features from the suspicious region with great accuracy and reliability to detect whether micro calcification is malignant or not.

Fractal antenna has been extensively investigated because of its multiband operation and compact size. This paper presents a fractal based antenna using Sierpinski carpet geometry. A simple microstrip antenna with the zero iteration, first iteration and the second iteration Sierpinski carpet fractal antenna were designed and optimized. The simple microstrip antenna obtains a return loss of -29.22dB at the resonant frequency of 2.46 GHz. The first iteration Sierpinski carpet fractal antenna provides a return loss of
-31.04 dB at the resonant frequency of 2.2 GHz, -14.79 dB at 3.803 GHz and -19.81dB at 4.3580 GHz. The second iteration Sierpinski carpet fractal antenna resonates at 2.19GHz, 3.79GHz, and 4.38 GHz with return loss of -25.69dB,-14.30dB,-19.60dB respectively. In this paper patch volume reduced up to 20.85% and also we obtain optimum VSWR & return loss .The substrate material is FR4 epoxy with dielectric constant 4.4 .Entire design implemented and simulated on HFSS-13.

Abstract: A wide band CPW fed antenna for wireless communication applications such as WLAN (5.2 GHz) and RFID (5.8 GHz), is presented in this paper. The antenna consist of finite substrate dimensions (20×15 mm2).This antenna is realized on FR4 epoxy substrate with permittivity 4.4 and loss tangent of 0.002.It has desired antenna characteristics such as return loss better than 10dB, VSWR, gain and radiation pattern at the specified resonant frequencies. The B.W of antenna (1130 MHz) is greatly improved by optimizing the width and length of the slots. The antenna is simulated using Mentor Graphics IE3D 15.10 electromagnetic solver and fabricated. There is good matching between measured and simulated results.

Abstract: Radio over fiber is an analog transmission in which radio frequency is modulated with laser diode. It is an integration of wireless and fiber optic network .Today the peek requirement is capacity of the channel so optical communication has come in picture. The future provision of multimedia and broadband the radio over fiber systems are good option. In this paper, four signals are transmitted for 120 km. through single mode fiber with erbium doped fiber amplifier. Two base stations are introduced at 40 km. each to add and drop a particular signal. The well known advantages of fiber such as low loss, light weight, large bandwidth, small size, low cable cost are very useful in optical communication. Warless sensor network is used where battery recharge or replacement is impossible so network life time is more important. In this paper we are presenting a heterogeneous network in which various energy efficient technologies are used .It is an essential technology for the provision of access to broadband wireless communication in a range of application. Their transmission properties are very useful in their implementation as the backbone of a wireless network.

Abstract: The fifth generation wireless 5G development initiative is based upon 4G, which at present is struggling to meet its performance goals. The comparison between 3G and 4G wireless communication systems in relation to its architecture, speed, frequency band, switching design basis and forward error correction is studied, and were discovered that their performances are still unable to solve the unending problems of poor coverage, bad interconnectivity, poor quality of service and flexibility. An ideal 5G model to accommodate the challenges and shortfalls of 3G and 4G deployments is discussed as well as the significant system improvements on the earlier wireless technologies. The radio channel propagation characteristics for 4G and 5G systems is discussed. Major advantages of 5G network in providing myriads of services to end users personalization, terminal and network heterogeneity, intelligence networking and network convergence among other benefits are highlighted. The significance of the study is evaluated for a fast and effective connection and communication of devices like mobile phones and computers, including the capability of supporting and allowing a highly flexible network connectivity.
