Abstract: St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) as a research university capitalizes on its faculty researchers who play a role in helping maintain the University‟s accreditations. By continuously monitoring their needs, SPUP is able to identify areas of concern not only to capacitate faculty researchers but also to uphold its research and development thrusts and its commitment to academic excellence. Through mixed methods, this study aimed to identify the research areas in which faculty researches need assistance, with the objective that the University may take the necessary steps for intervention. Abstract: Demonetisation, announced by Hon. Prime Minister of India Sri. Narendra Modiji on November 8, 2016 was primarily aimed at eliminating black money and counterfeit notes in the economy. However, the way in which it has been implemented has caused severe hardships to the millions of people, across the socio-economic circles. It has evoked mixed reactions among economists and politicians. Also, it is doubtful whether the existing framework is adequate for curbing black money that may arise in future. If not, the numerous difficulties suffered by the citizens of the country will be worthless. Because the famous Nobel laureate economist Mr. Paul Krugman said, 'the move might only force the corrupt to become more careful the future'. It is in this context, the paper looks at the demonetisation scenario in India, along with the way forward.

Abstract: The study examines the extent to which ethnoreligious crises in Nigeria impacts on national security. It focuses on the Boko Haram terrorism in the northeast, the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) violence in the south-south, and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) secessionist-oriented restiveness in the southeast and how they have undermined Nigeria‟s national security, particularly human security. In this vein, it sought to provide answers to how threats to the survival of population, livelihood, and dignity of individuals and communities impact on national security. The study relied on the qualitative content analysis of secondary sources of data and utilized the relative deprivation theory. It argues that human security is key to Nigeria‟s national security, as such, ethnoreligious crises threaten the survival of population, livelihood and dignity of individuals and communities which in the long run breeds more hostilities, underdevelopment, and high mortality and displacement rates. It, therefore, recommends the introduction of socio-economic empowerment programs for job creation, and the prompt provision of humanitarian supports to victims.

Abstract: School rules and regulations are mechanisms designed to control, regulate and manage students' behaviour in schools in order to create conducive learning environment. The purpose of this study was toestablish commonly violated rules and regulation and aspects of the rules that promote their violation in public secondary schools in Butere Sub-County, Kenya. The study was informed by two specific objectives; to identify school rules and regulations that are frequently violated andestablish the reasons for violation. Study population comprised 3290 students and 319 teachers all from 28 public secondary schools. Descriptive survey research design was used. Stratified sampling was used to categorize the schools into girls' boarding, boys' boarding, girls' day, boys' day and mixed day schools. Abstract: There is an alarming trend of depression among college student in the US. About. 1 out of every 5 college students are experiencing some form of depression. A recent publication from the Center for Collegiate Mental Health in the US established that anxiety and depression are the top reasons that college students seek counseling. Depression accounted for more than 1,000 suicides on college campuses annually.
