Abstract: Background:This study assessed weather variability and climate change in the coastal lowlands along the western Indian ocean coastline, Kenya. The aim of the study was to establish the trend of rainfall and temperature and their variations as indicators of climate change.The objectives of the study included: i) To determine the trend and variability of rainfall in the coastal lowlands along the western Indian ocean coastline, Kenya; ii) To determine the trend of land and sea temperaturesin the coastal lowlands along the western Indian ocean coastline, Kenya iii) To forecast and predict future trends in rainfall using ARIMA model in the in the coastal lowlands along the western Indian ocean coastline.....
