Abstract: To the north of the country, (Present day Afghanistan), lay the province of Balkh and Badakhsha surrounded by the river Oxus and the Hindukush Mountain. In the middle ages, they were neither civilized nor prosperous and had been ruthlessly ravaged by Mongols, Uzbegs ,and Turkomans, who had all inflicted untold misery on the native population.1Recovery of ancestral Timurid dominions by Mughal rulers of India in the 16th and 17th centuries was a constant dream. They regarded Trans-Oxiana as belonging to them by right of legal inheritance, and they always cast longing eyes on the arid regions of the north. To recover Samarqand and Bokhara Babur went to the length of even sacrificing..............

Title | : | Competencies of Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) Consumers in Nigeria |
Country | : | Malaysia |
Authors | : | Anyanwu Hilary Chinedu || Sharifah Azizah Haron || Syuhaily Osman |
Abstract: Technological innovations and changes in business organizations have necessitated the need for consumers to be competent on the usage of products/services. Consequently, the changing tastes, preferences, and competitions in the Nigerian telecom industry calls for Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) to assess the level of competency among their consumers in order to ameliorate the magnitude of discord between them. Given MTN's renege on their promises upon entry into Nigerian telecom market, it takes only a competent consumer to patronize the firm without any economic loss. The prevalence of network fluctuationsand breach of privacy emphasized the significance of this study. Self-efficacy theory was used as the study's theoretical background..............

Title | : | Evaluating the Relevance of Donor Funded Road Construction Projects in Kenya |
Country | : | Kenya |
Authors | : | Ali Ibrahim Hassan || Henry Bwisa |
Abstract: Relevance is the extent to which an intervention's objectives are related to the needs, problems and issues to be addressed. Among the most vital public assets in many countries are the roads. Road developments bring immediate and vivid benefits to road users by opening access to hospitals, schools, and markets. They offer better-quality comfort, speed, and safety; and minimize all operational costs. To support the development objectives, Kenya has embarked on a programme of upgrading roads to improve the quality of living by the year 2030. It's a programme dubbed vision 2030 that has numerous goals. It is however a challenging and costly investment that has exceeded Kenya's budget capacity. Engaging donors has become necessary to meet the deficit.............
