Title | : | A Search for Grounding Source in Philosophy and Literature through the Self and the Other |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Rinson George || John Joseph Kennedy |
Abstract: Philosophy of literature goes through a constant struggle due to the power play between the author and reader. It has become a difficult task for the reader to understand the literature since history gives importance to different aspects of the literature. It emphasises on various aspects such astext, author and reader. A metaxological reading of the text helps to understand and interpret the literature. It helps to understand the literature which works between the reader and the text. This research tries to understand the aspect "between‟ which works as the space of the literature. It is neither with the reader nor with the text. Discourse analysis of the text through metaxology helps to understand the real space of literature. It tries to prove that the space of literature is in "between‟. This paper helps to understand the space of literature without a power conflict between the reader, author and text..
Key words :- Author, literature, metaxology, reader, space

Title | : | Sanctioned rhetoric: Nefarious professional communications produced by the state |
Country | : | AUSTRALIA |
Authors | : | Ray Archee |
Abstract: The state and its institutions have traditionally produced professional documents in the form of flyers, magazines and brochures. Typically free, or low cost, these documents cover informational, legal and political functions of the state. In the West, citizen health, safety, education, taxes, tourism, nutrition, the law, employment and technology are some of the needs fulfilled by these seemingly innocuous documents. Such public communication can however be subverted for ulteriormotives, especially during periods of domestic conflict and war. Using case studies, this paper shows how professional communication canfulfil questionable purposes. This paper analyses the use of professional documents for mainlydisreputable purposes, including a major WWII publication..........

Advanced age is often associated with disabilities thus challenges activities of daily living. In Kenya like other nations, the elderly are often discriminated and excluded from participating in development programs under different circumstances and situations on the basis of age. Despite these, they are potential and salient contributors to development. In African societies, they play vital roles including care for grandchildren, placate controversies and are custodian of community resources. Preserving and harnessing their talent means complementing community development with optimal aging. It is thus imperative that the inclusion of the elderly in community development be a priority....

Title | : | Exposé of the power of money: Re-reading the Marikana Deaths as truth in and beyond Rehad Dessai's Miners Shot Down |
Country | : | South Africa |
Authors | : | Katunga Joseph Minga, PhD |
Abstract: The language of activism may be a tool of critique of society, but its substance could also be subjected to criticism. Rehad Dessai‟s Miners Shot Down, under analysis, is a documentary film whose success lies in its clear report of the Marikana massacre which occurred on 16 August, 2012 at Lonmin mining company in South Africa. Certainly, there is much to learn from this visual text, but the political challenge subsumes all other aspects. While the film claims to give voice to the fallen Marikana miners but its real business is stereotyping the black leadership...........
