Abstract: The present paper posits the need to examine the success of welfare policy interventions based on an empirical reading of its origin and growth. The pro-poor interventions which saw their evolution in British India were extended plan after plan with fiscal subventions. There is no second opinion on the need for championing the cause of downtrodden. However, the development rationale of the subventions spanning decades invite an exploration to substantiate its pro-poor cause. This paper attempts to unravel the underpinnings of Public Distrbution System [PDS] in Tamil Nadu, a Colonial legacy, based on archival sources. In essence, the plea of the paper is to read the need and significance of welfare policy intervention from a pluralist plank transcending the rhetoric frame.

Abstract: This study focused on the self-reflections that five co-team teaching faculty members used to improve the instructional delivery process for an internship and practicum course for over a period of five years. Co-team teaching is defined for this study as five faculty members coming together in a positive collaborative relationship to share instruction, experiences and educational leadership practices that enhanced the quality of services to students who were seeking career positions in educational school leadership. By offering students teaching experiences from five different faculty members who have actually served as school leaders at the building and district level gave students a broader perspective as to how effective leadership.............

Abstract: Introduction: In Kenya there is an acute shortage of radiologists. Most rural and remote hospitals with x-ray departments do not have radiologists to report on plain film radiographs. Plain film radiographs are sent to national, provincial, referral and academic institutions for radiological reports. The aim of this study was to investigate the willingness of Kenyan radiographers to train in image interpretation of the chest and musculoskeletal systems to supplement radiologists............
