Abstract: Finding answers to questions of the present inthe past is exactly why History as an academic discipline is essential. If one looksat the socio-political, socio-economic, and socio-cultural aspects of life in one‟s surroundings, one will realise how almost all the problems one faces now have their germination in the past, and when one looks at the trajectory, he/she finds how from a certain situation the problem reached the present stage. Abstract: Jibanananda Das is one of the most powerful poets in modern Bangla literature. He gives Bangla modern poetry a new dimension which brings into the realm of Bangla poetry the pain in the life of the urban modern men through his poems. He is widely known as the poet of nature. To him, perhaps, the most attractive thing is the imagery of Bengal's nature. However, in spite of receiving multidimensional criticism on different aspects in adoration for natural beauty, Das's poetry receives critique on nature and nationalism only inadequately. There exists, therefore, the question—whether Das's poetry shows any association between the nature and nationalism of Bengal. Abstract: This study investigated the influence of students‟ maladministration of drug on science practical skills in Ekiti State, Nigeria. The purpose of the study was also to determine the influence that maladministration of drug will have on students‟ science practical skills and also the influence that school counseling will have on maladministration of among senior secondary school science students in Ekiti State, Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive research design of the survey type. The population of this study consisted of 23,837 senior secondary schools science students in Ekiti State and the sample consisted of 300 senior secondary schools science students in Ekiti State. Abstract: Education and schooling enable learners to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to become useful citizens of the society. However, achievement of these attributes has been affected by low academic performance in schools especially in Kipipiri Sub-county, Kenya. This study sought to find out the influence of school culture on academic performance. It focused on two aspects of school culture: school rituals and language policies. Specifically, to what extent could the two aspects predict pupils' academic performance in the Sub-county? Using the descriptive survey research design, data were collected from a sample of 1563 respondents selected from a total population of 4173. Abstract: Millennium Villages Project that lounged in 2005-2015 worldwide, engages Poverty Eradication interventions in Tanzania at Mbola Villages in Tabora Region. This was done through establishing the income generation groups which together work to ensure the members and community in general acquire economic growth but also the other community members learn and copy for implementation from the existing Income Generation Group. This study sough to examine lesson from those IGG and copied for establishment and running of other new IGG, for economic growth. The main objective of this study is to identify the acquired lesson that copied and bear other new IGG. Abstract: The primary purpose of this paper is to examine the issue of child marriage in Nigeria. A human rights-based framework is used, to analyse and develop a conceptual understanding of child marriage, and the international conventions prohibiting the practice are examined. The paper outlines this national problem and the reasons why child marriage persists, assesses how it contravenes many international human rights standards, and then provides policy and programmatic recommendations.
