Setting: The study was conducted at the Obstetric and Gynecology Department and Intensive Care Unit in Helwan General Hospital. Sample: A convenient sample of 52 nurses working at the previously mentioned settings were recruited for the study. Two tools were used for data collection; I) A structured interviewing questionnaire, included socio demographic characteristics of the study nurses and assessment of nurses' knowledge regarding maternal sepsis. II) Observational checklist for evaluating nursing management of maternal sepsis. Results showed that the majority of nurses had unsatisfactory knowledge before implementation of the protocol. However, slightly more than three quarters.......

Abstract: Background: During caesarean section mothers can be in different positions. Theatre tables could be tilted laterally, upwards, downwards and wedges or cushions could be used. There is no consensus on the best positioning at present.Spinal block givesadmirable and excellent anesthesia for cesarean delivery, but it is frequently accompanied by hypotension, which if untreated can pose serious risks to mother and baby.Strategies directed to increasing venous return, such asTredelenburg position( lifting the lower extremities), in the treatment of arterial hypotension This study aims to investigate Utilizationof tredelenburg positionfor decreasingmaternal hypotension and fetal acidosis following spinal anesthesia......

Abstract: clinical pathway nursing management is standardized, multidisciplinary approaches for caring patients with a goal of decreasing length of stay and care without negatively affecting patient outcomes objective: to evaluate the effects of enhanced recovery pathway intervention on postoperative complications for primiparous women undergoing elective cesarean section.
Methods: a prospective evaluation enrolled consecutive on elective cesarean section women at Mansoura university hospital. Intervention and control groups were assigned via random number generation. maternal health indicators were recorded at first, third day, 2weeks and 3 months after delivery via chart review and written/telephone. results: overall, 250 women.......

Abstract: Intradialytic hypotension (IDH) remains to be a major and distressful complication of hemodialysis. It may decrease the efficiency of the dialysis procedure and lead to adverse clinical outcomes that are clearly associated with the higher rate of morbidity and mortality among patients in hemodialysis. So, those patients require careful and frequent assessment each session and the nurse as an important health team member should be aware of the patient who is risky for intradialytic hypotension to provide the appropriate intervention.
Aim of the study: was to assess the prevalence of intradialytic hypotension and identify the risk factors associated with dialysis induced hypotension among patients in hemodialysis at a University Hospital-Egypt.
Research Questions: Q1: What is the prevalence.......
Keywords: Intradialytic hypotension, hemodialysis, nursing intervention, risk factors, prevalence.

Abstract: The study aims to determine the relationship between prenatal comfort and sleep quality in the pregnant women in the third trimester. This analytical cross-sectional type research was conducted between February 2019 and June 2019. The study sample consisted of 120 pregnant women who were in the third trimester who admitted for routine pregnancy follow-up to Çankırı State Hospital's obstetrics outpatient clinic and who agreed to participate in the study. The data were collected by the face-to-face interview technique using the sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics form, developed by the researchers, the "Prenatal Comfort Scale" (PCS) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Numbers, percentiles, mean, and standard deviation was used in the analysis of the data. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between...........
