Abstract: Although human behavior is complex and varies greatly among individuals, certain behavioral patterns can be identified. Put it simply, when our behavior (whether desirable or undesirable) is followed by a positive and encouraging response (such as praise or reward), the chance of us repeating this behavior will increase. However, if our behavior is followed by a negative response (such as criticism or reproach) or even no response, the chance of us repeating this behavior in the future will be reduced. Abstract: Introduction: Although the prevalence of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is not low in Saudi Arabia, local community is still not well aware about it. Methods: We conducted a cross sectional study through a pre-structured questionnaire, distributed among the residents of Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. Results: The results showed that 80% of the population was not aware of dealing with infants with SIDs. The results further revealed that there was no significant association between the level of education and the awareness regarding SIDS. Moreover, those who lived in the urban areas had a higher incidence of SIDS as compared to the rural areas; however, health facilities are much better in rural areas with better availability of health care centres with multiple specialities........

Abstract: Background: Pain has been reported as a significant problem for children with leukemia as they regularly experience pain as a result of the disease, side effects of treatment and painful procedures associated with medical management. Children often perceive invasive medical procedures as worse than the disease itself for which they are being treated. So, it is reasonable to address their pain by incorporating non-pharmacological intervention as thermo-mechanical stimulation. Thermo-mechanical stimulation is a non-pharmacological technique that reduces venipuncture pain by combining vibration, cold therapy and distraction. Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the effect......
