Abstract: Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among the female population in Nigeria. This study investigated the factors associated with the utilization of cervarix vaccine among students in the Schools of Nursing and Midwifery in Anambra State, Nigeria. Three research questions and two null hypotheses guided the study. Cross-sectional descriptive research design was used for the study and the population consisted of 957 students while the sample size was 282. Proportionate sampling and simple random sampling techniques were used for the study. A self developed questionnaire on factors associated with the utilization of cervarix was the instrument used for data.......

Abstract: Despite a large proportion of woman attending ANC during pregnancy, a significant percentage still avoid delivering at the health facility. Thus increasing the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes and death. Knowledge of factors associated with the decision against health facility delivery is limited. Abstract: birth size is considered an important indicator in maternal, fetal, and neonatal health. Hence, anthropometric measurements at birth are important predictors of the growth pattern, health, and psychosocial development of infants. The study aimed to assess the relation between maternal ' anthropometric measurements and their newborns at Obstetrics and Gynecology ward at Sohag University hospital and EL-Fayoum University Hospital. Design: A cross-sectional and observational design was carried out in the study. Sample: - included 432 newborns and their mothers were recruited into this study. Abstract: The objectives of this study are to determine the effect of co-morbidity, dietary practices and socio-economic characteristics on health status among people living with HIV/AIDS attending Comprehensive Care Clinic in Kangundo hospital. The study was based on the health production function. The study concludes that for PLWHIV being hypertensive helps improve their health status, however having tuberculosis among PLWHIV adversely affects their health status. Dietary patterns specifically daily consumption of vitamins among PLWHIV improves their health status. Abstract: Background: Medication errors cause a number of negative outcomes directly on the patient (negative patient health outcome) or indirectly on the nurse and healthcare system. Objective: To assess the outcomes of medication errors based on respondents' opinion and improve the quality of medication handling safety. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted among nurses in a tertiary institution in Nigeria. A total of 119 Nurses were selected from a tertiary institution in Southern Nigeria, through simple random sampling method. Descriptive statistic was used to analyze data.
