Abstract: Neck pain is a common disorder prevailing among individuals of different population with about 70% of the population experiencing an episode of neck pain at sometime during their lives.1,2 The myofascial pain syndrome is a disorder related to myofascial trigger points.2 It is defined as a hyperirritable locus in skeletal muscle and that is associated with a hypersensitive palpable nodule in a taut band of muscle.2 Currently, a large variety of both manual and non-manual interventions exist for the deactivation of trigger points.3 Our study aims to compare the effect of integrated neuromuscular inhibition technique versus ischaemic compression and trigger point pressure release on upper trapezius trigger points and non-specific neck pain.This study was conducted in subjects with upper......

Abstract: Introduction: Stress is an unavoidable phenomenon in every aspect of human life. Headache, fatigue, and irritation are some of the stress related symptoms observed in the patients undergoing hemodialysis. Aims: To study the level of stress in hemodialysis patients in government tertiary care hospital. Methods: A prospective observational study was done in Government tertiary care hospital, by observing the 124 hemodialysis patients admitted from, 2018 July to 2018 December. Results: Of the 124 patients in the study, 62.90% were male, and 37.09% were female of all age categories. 45.16% of patients were in stage.........

Abstract: lately, the number of disasters has increased dramatically throughout the world. Saudi Arabia is at risk of natural disasters and those created by humankind. Health care providers, particularly the nurses and physicians, must be prepared with appropriate skills and knowledge in order to be able to manage the disaster events. Therefore, understanding their level of preparedness for disaster management purposes is important. This study aim to assess healthcare providers' perception of disaster management preparedness at governmental hospital in Jeddah. Abstract: Background: Quite a number of studies revealed the fact that knowledge and skill regarding basic life support is very poor among Student nurses. It is also documented that the knowledge and skill deteriorates after months from the training period. Hence, the researcher decided to implement the training repeatedly until the student nurses achieve optimum knowledge and skill. Objectives: To compare the Post-test knowledge scores between experimental and control groups. To compare the Post-test skill scores between experimental and control groups. To find an association between knowledge scores of student nurses on Basic Life Support with selected demographic variables.
