Abstract: Bilingualism in school has become an increasingly important topic in education research and practice. Numerous studies have been conducted to explore the benefits and challenges of bilingual education, as well as its impact on students' cognitive, linguistic, and socio-emotional development. This meta-analysis study aims to examine the effects of bilingual education on academic achievement in school settings. By synthesizing the findings of multiple studies, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the impact of bilingual education on students' academic outcomes. The meta-analysis included 20 studies with a total sample size of 10,000 students. The findings revealed a significant positive effect of bilingual education on academic achievement.
