Abstract:Parenting styles are crucial as they may possibly be connected to several aspects of adolescent's intellectual, academic and social relation capabilities. Abstract: The increase misconduct in schools shows that discipline has become a major problem of educational management worldwide. Counselling is seen to be a major component in management of discipline in schools. In Kenya the school's unrest is more common in secondary schools. The Ministry of Education (MOE) did away with use of corporal punishment instead impressed counselling as a key factor in management of discipline. Caregiver's burden in SUD has not been closely studied as in schizophrenia. The present study is an attempt to assess and compare the burden in caregivers of schizophrenia and SUD. Abstract: Although many studies across the world and in Kenya have focused on the elderly, limited research has given attention to the correlation between psychosocial support and loneliness in this population. The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between psychosocial support and loneliness among older adults in Mathira West sub-County, Kenya. Adults aged 55 and above who live in Mathira West sub-county in Kenya were the target population. Cross-sectional research design was be adopted. Purposive sampling technique was employed to select 328 participants. Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) was used to collect data. Descriptive and inferential statistics such as frequencies, percentages, and logistic regression were calculated. Results indicated that psychosocial support and loneliness are correlated. The findings of this study will inform policy formulation and planning in Nyeri County with regards to psychosocial support of the older adults.

Abstract: The present study aims to discuss the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) as facilitative tools in the teaching and learning process. It is known that during the pandemic, various educational institutions were caught off guard, resulting in significant losses in student learning. Therefore, the study began with a literature review involving authors who address the use of technology in the school environment, its impact on the teaching and learning process, and student socialization. It employed a qualitative approach and exploratory research. The results indicated that there is still a need for investment in actions, material resources, and measures that can support distance teaching for all levels of education. It is hoped that this work will contribute to reflection on the importance of high-quality education under any circumstances for the act of teaching.

Abstract: The objective of the study was to conduct structural and atmospheric emissions analyses for the automotive industry in selected countries. The methodology was based on the multiregional input-output matrix involving 43 countries and the rest of the world. The results showed that there was an 8,841 Gigagram decrease in global CO2 emissions from the automotive industry during the period 2000-2014, representing a -13% variation. In the year 2014, the sectors with the highest CO2 emissions were in China, the United States, Germany, and India.
