Abstract: Resumo: Este artigo aborda a importância da saúde mental de crianças e adolescentes no Brasil, destacando a necessidade de uma abordagem integrada e abrangente para enfrentar os desafios relacionados aos transtornos mentais nessa faixa etária. A análise enfoca a influência dos determinantes sociais na saúde mental, evidenciando a prevalência dos transtornos mentais entre crianças e adolescentes e os impactos negativos associados a essas condições. Abstract: Resumo Este estudo buscou revisitar o uso e significados das variáveis sexo, gênero e orientação sexual ao longo das quatro décadas da epidemia de HIV, a partir de uma revisão teórica da literatura e do cenário epidemiológico no contexto brasileiro.
