First, the paper has unfolded the concept of power, creating more understanding on its typologies, forms, faces, measurement and balance. Secondly, the paper demystified the concept of conflict management. The paper also in its findings established that there is a relationship between............

Abstract: Conflict is one of the defining features of the modern world. However, diasporic media have a grave impact on conflict situation. They can either escalate conflict by accentuating disagreements, foregrounding confrontations, and lending air time to forceful voices, or, conversely, reduce the conflict by shunning extremism, giving room for alternative voices and visualizing peaceful solutions. The media situation in and around Nigeria provides an interesting context for discussing these issues. The lingering Boko Haram insurgency in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.............

Abstract: Students form a huge and potential force for the development of a society. Besides ensuring education, the students could bring drastic changes in the society. For that purpose students are required to be organized and make them aware about their capabilities. They should provide equal opportunities to understand and take active participation in various socio-political and economic issues of a society. Therefore, students since long past, in fact all over the world, raised their voices from time to time against various problems that have been facing by the society. Many of them were also emerged as successful. In the context of Assam, the Assam Agitation of 1979-85 can be cited as one of the best example which proves the indomitable power of students.

Abstract: Nga-Ayaibais one of the most indispensable food items of Manipur since time immemorial. It is a non-fermented preserved fish product prepared from raw fishes by furnace drying technique. Processing of Nga-Ayaiba is one of the oldest traditional and economical methods of producing and preserving fishes. In Manipur, various traditional non-fermented fish products such as Nga-Ayaiba (Ngaphak, Nga-thangjee); and fermented food products i.e. soyabean(Hawaijar), bamboo shoot products (soibum/soijin, soidon), Ngari, Hentak, beverages (Yu Atingba; Rice beer), etc. are being consumed as a regular food item over a period of long time. The practice of these food habits is passing down through generation by generation. In the present paper, an attempt has been made to highlight the traditional making process of Nga-Ayaiba in terms of its cultural significance.

Abstract: This paper examines competitive advantage of Yemeni international trade in the market of the USA. Because Yemen is under the special situation from 2011 after the "arab spring", in our analyses we will just use the 2 digits SITC for selected seven years from the period 2000-2011. For this purpose in our analysis we have used Balassa´s index as a measure of competitive advantage (CTA).Though this approach is wroldwide used in literature, we aware that this index has some empirical lack but it give us a feature of gross sectoral competiveness of examined country or group of countries. According to our empirical analyses we found that Yemen has during the selected period an international trade competitive advantages, according to Balassa´s index in the global level, in a few groups of commodities, which are concentrated in the energy and the phishing sectors.
