Title | : | Search Engine Behavior and Satisfaction:A Survey-Based Study among Users in Malaysia |
Country | : | United States of America |
Authors | : | Annegret M. Gross |
Abstract: The birth of the internet in the 1990‟s did not only change the way of how people communicate but also of how they access information. The amount of information that the internet offers is enormous, it grows by the day and can be retrieved at any time – only technical issues may interrupt its constant availability. That is why the World Wide Web is nowadays the first port for information retrieval. Information retrieval tools are indispensible in this environment. They filter the information mass and allow users to locate the desired information.Search engines are one of the most popular web services.Most of what is known about user search engine behavior comes from query log analysis and clickthrough analysis. Only few studies have so far examined search engine behavior and user satisfaction from a mere user perspective.The number still shrinks when it comes to narrowing down the research focus on users of a specific country or language community. This study investigates user search engine behavior and satisfaction from the perspective of Chinese-speaking users in Malaysia............

Abstract: China and Chinese owned firms as well as construction projects are not new in Nigeria. For instance, Chinese firm such as Chinese Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) has been in operation in Nigeria for decades now. The firm has undertaken several projects. In the 21st century, CCECC has continued to win many contracts and is now competing with big names such as Julius Berger in Nigeria. However, the issue that has not been looked into is how efficient as well as effective is this Chinese firm in delivering these projects? Are they shortfalls witnessed in Chinese construction works? What makes Chinese firm increasing being sourced for today by Nigerian government? In other words, what are the advantages of sourcing for Chinese firm for Nigeria‟s infrastructural development? Title | : | Why Penalize Marital Rape |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Sakshi Kanodia || Ranjabati Ray |
Abstract: Marriage is regarded as one of the most sacred institutions of our country, by which one legalizes their right to procreate. But when this sacredness is destroyed, this institution shatters completely, and what remains is just a display of its ruins to the society. The concept of "marital rape‟ is prevailing in this pious relationship for ages; and women have had to face various difficulties and health issues, as they are the silent sufferers. Its roots can also be traced to the absence of proper legislations and social stigmas. Various reasons pointing towards its legalization are stated, most of them being unjustifiable. "Rape‟ should be considered as "Rape‟, irrespective of the perpetrators relationship with the victim. The paper discusses various notions regarding rape and specifically marital rape and throws light on some critical and burning truths of our "modern society‟. The "hue and cry‟ by women of our nation, regarding the legalization of the crime, seems to be in vain. Taking into account the vastness of the topic, doctrinal research method has been adopted for the successful completion of this paper.

Title | : | A Critical Analysis of The Scope and Nature of The Concept of Human Rights |
Country | : | Rwanda |
Authors | : | Dr. Alfred Mwenedata (Llb, Llm, Ph.D.) |
Abstract: Human Rights Have Been Defined As Basic Moral Guarantees That People In All Countries And Cultures Allegedly Have Simply Because They Are People1. Calling These Guarantees Rights Suggests That They Attach To Particular Individuals Who Can Invoke Them, That They Are Of High Priority; And They Are Rights Because They Belong To An Individual As A Consequence Of Being Human. They Refer To A Wide Continuum Of Values That Are Universal And In Some Sense Equally Claimed For All Human Beings2. It Goes Without Saying That If They Refer To The Concept Of Human Beings As Having Universal Rights, Those Rights Have Their Status Regardless Of Legal Jurisdiction Or Other Localizing Factors, Such As Ethnicity And Nationality.The Concept Of Human Rights Is Based On The Idea That Each Person Has Worth And Dignity, And Thus Deserves Certain Basic Freedoms. When Those Freedoms Are Recognised, Each Individual Can Enjoy Safety........
