Title | : | The Intellectual Tussle Between The Sudanese Mahdi And Muslim Scholars |
Country | : | Nigeria |
Authors | : | Dr. Abba Idris Adam |
Abstract: 19th century has been regarded, by Muslim historians, as the era of general sense of decline and disintegration of Muslim political entities, particularly the Ottoman Caliphate. This was further aggravated by the European scramble on Muslim lands from as far as Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa. In these lands, Muslims were politically relegated and forced to play secondary roles in their own lands. This, however, re-activated a certain scenario where Muslims yearned for the appearance of the Mahdi (redeemer or savior)..............

Title | : | Do the arguments of Sāṅkhya and Mīmāṃsā on the law of karma imply or refute the ecxistence of God? |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Vignesh Karthik K.R. |
Abstract: The genesis of the Indian Culture dates back to several millennia ago; and ever since, its legacy has led us through the Vedic concept of Dharma – enriching every aspect of it like language, religion, customs, beliefs, traditions, cuisines, art, music, values and many a times even emotions. This culture has inspired many writers to dwell into the logic and reasoning behind every motive – especially, how good and ethical they will stand in the modern world. One such Law that has constantly been under the limelight, with writers often opposing each other‟s opinion regarding the connotation and context included in its covenant, is the "Law of Karma‟, which revolves around fate, its causes and effects.

Title | : | The Yahwenomics of Land and Social Justice and Contemporary Land Resource Crises In Nigeria |
Country | : | Nigeria |
Authors | : | Rev. Cephas T. A. Tushima, Ph.D |
Abstract: This paper examines the Torah and prophetic understanding of Yahweh's economics of land ownership and management and its social justice implications within the covenant community of the Israel. Similarly, the paper also surveys the Nigerian land administrative practices. As a contextual study, it then correlates the biblical perspectives with the contemporary realities of land resource crises and their concomitant communal conflicts in Nigeria. The paper also highlights the elements of contextual connexity between the biblical patterns of land economy and justice vis-à-vis the Nigerian situation. Consequently, inferences are drawn from the Yahwenomics of land and social justice for the development of a just and equitable land policy and administration in Nigeria

They have suffered a lot of psychological and social withdrawal due to negative attitude and knowledge of every individual which have an adverse effect on their self-esteem, coping strategies, and positive affect. This study examined the psychosocial adjustment of patients suffering from mild stroke and the role played by the family, caregivers, social network in their adjustment to living and life management.
