Title | : | India's Quest for Power and Status: A Study of India's Nuclear Policy |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Rameez Raja |
Abstract: This paper addresses India as an emerging robust nuclear power with its capability of delivering nuclear missiles from all the three major components of nuclear triad. It finds that India‟s nuclear policy develops with considerable alacrity on its lust for power and was status driven. This paper also points out that India despite a non signatory of NPT and CTBT is declared as a responsible nuclear state and stands on a belief that it will not transit nuclear weapons and technology to other states. India‟s nuclear doctrine rests on no-first use policy (NFU), second strike capability..............

Abstract: This study has been conducted to assess the influence of land constraints on the modes of access to farmland in the Couffo Region.The work has been carried out by means of desk research, field surveys of farm operators, landowners, local elected representatives and officers of the Land Administration department. Title | : | Electoral Topography: A Contextual Perspective on Credible Election in Nigeria |
Country | : | Nigeria |
Authors | : | Ibrahim Sani (PhD) || Umar Dantani (PhD) |
Abstract: Electoral stakeholders – partisan and nonpartisan, media practitioners, parties, voters, including academics collect evidences of electoral malpractices enough to explain problems of electoral credibility facing different nations. While lively, none of these, particularly the academic debates, interrogates the significance of electoral topography to elections quality. Here I bridge this gap using Nigeria‟s electoral geography as a case example. Inclusively, attention is on how the Nigerian electoral topography constrains or empowers partisan and non-partisan political actors – political parties, candidates, voters, electoral..................

Title | : | Analysis of a management modelof conflicts uses of natural resources in Lake Fitri in Chad |
Country | : | Chad |
Authors | : | NdoutorlengarMédard || OulonaEsaïe || BallahSolkam Rosalie |
Abstract: The inexistence, the insufficiency, the laxity in the application of the regulatory texts and their superposition with those of the religious confessions in many African countries give free course to a multiplicity of the actors and a diversification of the modes of management of the conflicts of use of the natural resources (LE BRIS E. and al, 1982;BOUTNA, A., 2007).Such is the case of Chad where the ambiguity of the land rights and the simultaneous application of those traditional and Islamic create more problems than to solve them (ARMI J., 2005;KOYOUMTAN Agard 2002).............

Title | : | A Discourse of The Dependant's action For Loss of Support and The Influence of The New Constitutional Dispensation |
Country | : | Botswana |
Authors | : | Dr Nico P Swartz || Mr Otto Itumeleng |
Abstract: Roman law and the legal principle under that law is silent about an action for loss of support by the dependants of a breadwinner whose death was unlawfully caused by the defendant or wrongdoer. It was only under the Germanic custom that the life of a person had value capable of being estimated in monetary terms. The actions of the widow and children for loss of support are derived from the fact that they evoke support from the deceased during his lifetime. This paper also forged a solution to legal questions such as whether dependants can claim damages for loss of income in cases where the breadwinner or husband............
